This moody scene is actually a Keyframe Art from a short film I have an idea for. It has been so prominent in my mind that I couldn’t help but bring it to life.

It’s been great fun creating the base in 3D and moving to Photoshop for a paintover. I got a good idea of the amount of work required for world creation without wasting too much time on the details that I easily added later on. And just from this one shot, I’m realising that this project is way more ambitious than I initially thought. But never say never. I have a feeling that I might continue to tinker away with it in my spare time so maybe one day I will be able to show the whole thing.
